Emsworth Arts Trail 2016:
Venue number 33 - Emsworth Museum, 10b North Street, Emsworth, PO10 7DD
23th & 24th April & 30 April, 1 & 2 May 2016
Opening times for the Arts trail: 10.30am – 4.30pm daily
http://emsworthartstrail.org.uk/
The exhibition is on the first floor: there is a stairlift available.
The display will continue after the Arts trail has finished until 15 May on Saturdays 10.30am – 4.30pm and Sundays 2.30 – 4.30pm.
I will be in residence each day the exhibition is open.
I will be exhibiting lots of new work in response to my continuing interest in the changing light, colour, rhythm and mood of the Solent coast and local downland and shorelines. This will include larger 'one-off' hand printed silk-screen and relief monoprints, original drawings and paintings and affordable ‘one-off’ mini prints and handmade cards ideal for framing. This exhibition will also include three showcases filled with my latest expressive stoneware sculptures of wolves.

Shortlisted for ‘Celebrating Milne’
A new Public Art Commission for the Isle of Wight
I am excited to announce that I am one of four artists shortlisted to create a piece of public artwork on vitreous enamel panels, exploring the life and work of English Geologist John Milne. If successful, I will spend time producing a similar design submitted to the one below, at the well-known A J Wells vitreous enamel works on the Isle of Wight during August. The three panels will be applied to a wall at Sea Street in Newport adjacent to Quay Arts. The winning designs will be selected by public vote via the Isle of Wight Council website until 18 July and are also on view at The Quay Arts Centre in Newport. See my proposed artwork concept below.
